We’ve got a big announcement!
Space Counselling will officially merge with national relationships charity TLC: Talk, Listen, Change on November 3rd, and we’re incredibly excited about our future together.
TLC delivers therapeutic wellbeing services, family mediation, and domestic abuse support across the country. The charity’s core belief is that everyone deserves safe, healthy, happy relationships.
TLC has been operating as a highly successful independent charity since its disaffiliation from Relate national in 2017. The merger will have no impact on customers and clients of Space Counselling, who will continue to serve the people local people as a part of the TLC Group.
Merging with TLC guarantees a sustainable future for our services so we can continue to provide confidential help and support to individuals, couples, young people, and families across Chesterfield and North Derbyshire.
You’ll still receive the same high-quality counselling we’ve delivered for over 45 years, but now with the added stability that comes from being part of a larger, well-established charity. For now, our website, phone lines, and contact details will remain the same.

Since 1978 Space Chesterfield and North Derbyshire has always offered a highly professional service and this will not change with the current challenges we are facing.
